About Us
My husband and I grew up in Northern California and have lived
here for most of our lives. We went to high school together and had the
same friends. We have a great love for children as you will know from
the 5 we have between us. Our oldest son, Timothy, is 21 years old and
is stationed in Hawaii as a Seargant in the U.S. Army. He has already
had one tour of Afghanistan and is due to go to Iraq soon. He chose to
be in the infantry and he does enjoy it. Our oldest daughter, Amber,
is 19 years old and attends UC Berkeley as a psychology major. Then
there is Chantiell, 19 years. She lives in Iowa and works there.
Anthony is 18 years old, and he is following his father, his
grandfather and his brother into the military. He is in the National
Gaurd and will be training this summer as a Combat Engineer. I believe
at the end of this summer he plans to join active duty in the Army. And
there is Jessie Anne, 17 years. She is very involved with church and
loves animals. And last but not least there is Amanda, 10 years. She
loves computer games and little babies. With all of these children you
can imagine there is never a dull moment.
Terry and I enjoy going camping and boating on the lake and just
relaxing around the pool when we are able. My husband works and is part
owner of I-5 Tire on Montgomery Rd. in Red Bluff, CA. He has worked and
owned the retread plant for about 9 years now. He's the best Retreader
around. Of course I would say that.
As for me, I worked as a Nurses Assistant for many years and I
really enjoyed it. I worked in Nursing homes as well as a private home
C.N.A., and couldn't help but get attached to my patients. I decided
about 13 years ago to work from home. I thought it would be great to be
able to be home for my own children and to still have an income. Over
the years I have taken care many children and I have loved them all. It
is a lot of fun working with the kids and watching them grow and become
little people. Each year I get the chance to watch and help the babies grow
from infancy to reading and making projects. What could be better than that?
I guess that is just about every thing about us. Hope you enjoyed the tour.
